Pranjal Kumar Dutta is a highly accomplished VP & GM in the IP Networks Division at Nokia with over 19 years of relevant experience in the field of computer science. He is an expert in systems software designing and has been a key member of the Service Router Product Group (SRPG) of IP/Optical Networks at Nokia. Pranjal's specialties include designing and implementing MPLS and related applications such as PWE3 and VPLS, IP routing, parallel computing, scalable embedded and distributed systems. He has extensive experience working with operating systems such as VxWorks, NetBSD, FreeBSD, and Linux, and has contributed to open-source development for Linux, including hacking kernels. He also worked as a software engineer at Alcatel-Lucent in the IP division in Mountain View, California, where he was involved in stealth mode projects. Pranjal holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat and completed his Computer Science studies at Stanford University.
